Join STEAMPUnksEdu for Video Game Design with Bloxels on Tuesdays at Harmony Elementary! Students will use tangible blocks and a game board to plot layouts, create pixel characters, and then scan them to magically translate into digital animations within the Bloxel app. Through game design we will become crafters of stories, learn game mechanics, and create animations, heroes, and bosses! This class is for those that love playing games, or creating digital art! No experience needed, and appropriate for K-5! Bloxels kits will be available for purchase at the end of the class at a reduced rate!
Intro to Virtual Reality (Thursdays Feb 22-March 29)

Calling all 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders! Virtual Reality has become all the rage...and we have the class just for you! Do you want to make your own worlds in virtual reality? Join STEAMPunks at Harmony Elementary to learn how! Students will explore Virtual Reality field trips, and then in turn explore apps and tools to create their own virtual environments, including a virtual school tour! Using the CoSpaces app,students will also learn coding skills to change scenes, activate objects, and make things move! This class meets on Thursdays for 6 weeks!All virtual worlds will be emailed and students can also work from home.
STEAMCraft, Pizza, and T-shirt ($50--Feb 8th 12:30-2:30pm)

EVENT OVER STEAMCraft fun is coming to Harmony! Does your kid love Minecraft? So do we! Join us February 8th as we host STEAMCraft, where students have to work together in teams to complete design challenges created within the sandbox game of Minecraft PE! Students will exercise the skills of making, design, collaboration, creativity, and communication—all 21st century skills as outlined by the International Society of Technology in Education. In addition to the collaborative building fun they will get awesome STEAMCraft t-shirts, and enjoy pizza. To ensure your child gets the correct shirt size registration must be completed by January 20th.
